Ordinarily I would agree with you, but this movie is to feature Ras Al Ghul. You can't have Ras without his daughter Talia. And while Bats may not be the most romantic character on the block...his thing with Talia is one of the great stories in comics history. However...while Holmes is a total cutie....she seems seriously miscast as the exotic Eurasian Talia.

Now here's my beef. I've memorized the names of practically every Batman love interest to last more than three issues in the comic series. Who the bleep is "Rachel"?

Posted by Chris "Blue Spider" Arndt at December 11, 2003 03:20 PMBatman's fiancee was, I think, named Rachel in "Batman: Year Two"; whe was the daughter of The Reaper. But that may not be the Rachel in this movie.
Posted by Michael Hutchison at December 11, 2003 03:47 PMI forgot Rachel Caspian.
By the events in Batman: Full Circle, she had become a nun.
Whatever happened to Julie Madison? It was explained in an issue of Batman or Batman Family back in the late seventies... running concurrent to the Englehart/Rogers/Austin Detective Comics run.
