Many thoughts are popping into my head while reading this item:
A) I'm pleased to say that I've been introducing my three year old to the world of superheroes. I'd much rather have her emulate Superman and Wonder Woman than many of the other possibilities out there.
B) Wow, I guess superheroes are making a pretty big impact right now in Australia. I doubt an American daycare center would even consider that enough of an issue to make a rule like that now (although recent movies might be changing that).
C) I wonder how these daycare centers would respond if the children came in with pro-wrestling logos or a Jackie Chan shirt? I'd personally have more of a problem with them than with a Superman logo. What about Spider-man? He doesn't hit people or kick people (usually); he just swings around and shoots webs. Any kid could tell them that.
D) Maybe it wasn't that Batman guy in Britain that sparked this idea. Maybe it was that Flash kid in the Eddie Murphy movie. :-)

But judging by the genre (c'mon, when you have Kindergarten Cop, Mr Mom, and this Eddie Murphy flick, plus more, it's a genre) I don't think it'd be safe for me to congregate more than five children underneath my charge.
Even with super-HEROES as role models kids are still kids and kids are very agressive on their own.
