That was the start of a beautiful friendship! His favorite artists are Alex Ross, Bruce Timm, Adam Hughes, George Perez, Steve Rude, Mike Allred and many more. Bio: I live in Lexington, Kentucky, and I attend the University of Kentucky. I've drawn school newspaper funnies, and was the art editor of my High School paper. I've been drawing ever since I was five years old, when I copied pictures out my brother's comics (and actually CUT pictures out, in some cases -- "). One of these days, I hope I get the chance to actually do some of the SPRING INTO ACTION proposals that have appeared in Fanzing - - and I've got so many ideas for self-published comics that I hope I have the time to do at least ten percent of them. If someone's seen my work, and they want me to do some illustrations for a story, lemme know -- I'd be happy to help!

The Shark is almost an Eagle Scout (the highest rank achievable in the Boy Scouts of America), and will be serving as Senior Class Secretary at Lindbergh High School.

In his secret identity, he is a mild-mannered computer programmer at Kozmo.com, and loves to travel all over North America with his wife, Ruchel, their two sons, Mishael Yehuda and Boruch Moshe, and their new (as of 5/2/99) daughter, Perel Chaya.

Chad Sanborn says, "I'm a graphic designer at Iowa State University with a healthy addiction for Batman, art, motorcycles, and dark beer (I know...too many hobbies)."

Erik Burnham is also a Minnesotan. Deal with it. He's lived in Arizona, Texas, Alaska, and Washington as well... these things have given him a skewed slant on life, which has availed the lad of 20 in writing and drawing. However, things like lightning and Parker-like luck have kept him from producing the things in his head... like the second part of the Superman: The Man of Steel screenplay.
