I'm not really sure that this needs too much of an intro. Our Swimsuit Contests are always popular. If you need some idea of what we're going for, check out the previous swimsuit challenges:

So here's the challenge:
- Draw a DC superhero (male or female; let's be fair!) in a swimsuit. Beware: given the average superheroine's costume, this may actually be less revealing!
- Send it in by July 22, 2002.
- A panel of judges will pick the best one. The results will be announced in the August issue.
Entries must be in a digital format such as GIF, JPG or BMP (scan in your drawings if necessary). Photomanipulations are allowed for backgrounds, although doing a background by hand can help your score. All acceptable entries will be shown in the issue. Have fun!
Prizes:

Here's the challenge:
Feebs are the characters we roll our eyes at and say "how lame!" Feebs are characters who haven't made much of an impression or impact on the DCU.
Feebs include characters such as the Global Guardians, Kole, Moonbow, all the New Blood characters, the New Guardians, Northwind, Pantha, all of the Planet DC characaters, Vibe, etc, etc. The list could go on and on!
Sure, it's easy to laugh at these charcters, but can you write a story that makes them shine? Can you dust off Moonbow and write a story that brings out the best in her? Fans are always complaining that they can do better than the pros, so here's your chance to show DC that you can do better!
Obviously, all the big guns, such as Batman, Superman, and most members of the JLA are off limits. Humor characters, such as the Inferior Five, the Legion Subs, and Ambush Bug are also off limits. (Humor characters aren't feebs because they were never intended to be great heroic characters.)
Since the definition of a feeb is quite subjective, a lot of leeway will be given in terms of character choice. If you think Captain Atom is a feeb, then so be it. Just write a story in which he looks and acts like he shouldn't be one!
Specifics:
- Prose form is fine. Comic script style is also acceptable, although many people don't like reading them.
- Do your own editing and spell-check. Entries will be posted as-is.
- If you write in WordPad, make sure wordwrap is on. Stories which contain line breaks will not be accepted
- Please send your story in either HTML, Word format or Rich Text Format (.rtf).
- As always, It Must Not Suck.
